LIVE
Driven by his passion for music and concerts, Hugues de CASTILLO, purchased a full-frame camera (Sony Alpha 7 IIIR) and several prime lenses and decided to take a new challenge with live photography. This experience led Hugues to become a regular contributor to the Wallonia-Brussels Federation’s cultural center, “Le Botanique“. Hugues also covers concerts in other venues and festivals in Belgium and abroad (Ancienne Belgique, Magasin 4 Desertfest Antwerp, Roadburn…). He also responds to direct requests from artists or their management.

Through his lens, he captures the intensity of faces — haunted gazes, feverish expressions, raw emotions— that tell the story of the music as much as the notes themselves. Each image, with its intense contrasts, captures the electric energy of the scene while illuminating the profound humanity of the artists. They invite us on a visual journey where shadow, light, and passion intertwine to bring the soul of live performance to life.
